Challenges:

3 pts - whenever you generate an elemental orb, pick three equipment slots: you can't have items equipped in them for the remainder of the game
2 pts - never have teleport control
1 pt  - don't use stairs when there's a hostile monster next to you

For the first challenge, you must choose a different equipment slot each time; by the time the final orb is generated all 15 (5 x 3) equipment slots will be off limits. You are allowed a turn (or as many as are required in the case of body armor) to unequip any items already in those slots.

You can equip stacks of items with a total weight of over 10s, so long as the individual item weighs 10s or less. Starting equipment heavier than 10s must be unequipped.

3 pts - in elemental temples, convert the altar before killing the orb guardian

The minimum possible number of locations is 62 if you go through the animated forest (D 1-50, TF 1-4, UL 1-6, MT, wilderness), and 63 if you go through dwarven halls. You are allowed one additional location if you accidentally visit the angel area, but you must leave it immediately.

Haha, thank you, this is entertaining!

I die every time after getting maggots corruption. Doesn't matter which trap, existing one, or the one I create. Is it intentional?

The character has an HP penalty to prevent tanking damage (probably not necessary given the monsters involved, but oh well), which means that if you get a toughness penalty your maximum HP may go below 0. The intended solution does not involve getting corrupted.

EDIT:

Ah, I found the existing corruption trap. I was thinking the magma would form a somewhat better barrier, haha.

Ah, got it.

1) Use unpick axe to SE direction
2) Zap trap creation wand on that square, apply Detect Traps and Disarm Traps.
3) Move in that direction along the river staying adjacent to the wall. Destroy some walls to generate rocks along the way
4) use rocks and unpick axe to generate more walls when the path gets wide
5) create a wall west of the stairway before moving there.

Sometimes 1) generates rocks or ore. It is possible to swim in magma/water to get to free square, but magma can kill in one turn if Potato drowns. Not sure if there is a solution that works all the time. Sometimes 1) generates stone giant, well in that case there is no need to use the wand .
