Challenges:

3 pts - use only guaranteed items
1 pt  - don't drink from pools
1 pt  - don't use your crowning gift
1 pt  - complete the Kill Yergius quest

As it's a bit difficult to define "guaranteed items", here's are some clarifications of what it means for the purposes of this challenge:

Divine gifts

• Crowning gifts are allowed.
• Pick axes from prayers are allowed.
• Pre/post-crowning gifts are not allowed.

Items drawn from limited pools

• Either of the horn of plenty or the cornucopia are allowed.
• Either of the helm or amulet of water breathing in the rift are allowed.
• Mushrooms are not allowed.
• All variations of quest rewards from Thrundarr and the dwarven mystic are allowed.

Items generated in variable quantities

• Stacks of rocks and gold pieces from goblin camp are allowed.
• All healing potions from Thrundarr are allowed.
• All potions of gain attributes from Riurry are allowed.
• All gold from Dak is allowed.

Items with non-fixed affixes

• The dwarven veteran's armor and weapon are allowed.
• Khelavaster's dagger is allowed.
• Weapons, armor, and shields from goblin camp are not allowed.

Starting items

• All starting equipment is allowed.
• The heir gift is allowed.

Shops and vendors

• Iron rations and large rations from Munxip's shop are allowed.
• The map fragment from the antediluvian dungeon scroll shop is allowed.
• All other shop items are not allowed.
• Food from ratling traders is allowed.
• Keys from Skriek are allowed.

Herbs

• Herbs picked from bushes created by the horn of plenty are allowed.
• All other herbs are not allowed.

Corpses

• Guaranteed corpse drops from guaranteed enemies (e.g. orb guardians, keethrax) are allowed.
• The corpse of the original cute dog is allowed.
• All other corpses are not allowed.

Miscellaneous

• The keys and thieves picks in Thief Guild are allowed.
• Pickpocketed items are not allowed.
• Wished-for items are not allowed.
• The random drop map fragment is allowed.
• Potions of booze from beggars are allowed.
• Beeswax from caverns of chaos hives is allowed.
• Gelee royal and any other beeswax is not allowed.
