    Default dumb wishes

    Anyone made a dumb wish?

I had a steel amulet in inventory and wasn't sure if it was AOLS, otherwise I would have wished for that. The shopkeeper nearby offered only 100-something for it so probably not?

I wished for an eternium full plate armor. Non-plural! Of course it had to be extra heavy and weigh over 3000 stone.

I have spent wishes on everburning torches in the past, when there was nothing really worth wishing for. Just for style.

I have spent a wish on 7LB, only to find a pair next level. Not technically a dumb wish but you should at least explore the common places to see if they can be randomly found.
It was a pool sip wish in UD.

    Wand of destruction on D50.
Because I've seen video where it was used and I for some reason thought that it was the only way to close the gate.

I have wished for various skills / Scrolls of Education in quests to get 100 on as many skills as possible.
I'm sure others have done better, but I did get 31 once

Lol! And here I thought I was the only one who had that goal! It got way easier to do after the skilled talents got the boost. Gnome bard is the best option to achieve it in a normal play through though.

Actually the dumbest wishes I made were with my first game winning character. He had a wand of wishing and used a wish on an AKW for experience, but very nearly died fighting it. In desperation to survive the fight he used two more wishes on arrows of dragon slaying. xD

Well Blank4u47, what's your best then?
I should note my otherwise perfect 100 was marred by Necromancy, which I was unable to advance for some reason. Probably being a neutral champion druid.

Once, recently I was on my final dive to kill Andy in an ultra. I had ridiculous 70-90 stats, due to finding the potion belt and having 3 potion shops generated, that I constantly bought out throughout the game. Lots of 19 potion dips later, I drank a ton of potions of gain attributes.

I also had 3 greater vaults generated in the CoC. Two of them were undead, but my character was hilariously powerful and had lots of castings of fireball and acid bolt, and near 90 willpower. I had every equipment slot filled with an artifact, and a smithed eternium girdle.

I got to like D:45 before I realized... crap. I forgot a box of flint and steel, so I can’t light a torch for my final fight with Andy, and fighting in darkness is so out of style.

I did have a spare Ring of Djinni Summoning though, so I wished for everburning torches.

I would have thought every slot filled with an artifact would be a hunger problem. I find two artifacts to be a strain if I'm relying on cooked lizards...
