    So far rolled 15 casters with RoDS and shamelessly killed them within 200 turns. For eternium glory!
    (after 15 I stopped counting...)

    About Two weapon combat: I think JellySlayer mentioned something about this in another thread. The manual gives pretty exact information on the rules of dual-wielding, but there seems to be at least one exception: to-hit bonus is terrible when using Bug Pinch and dual-wielding (like -200 to hit), regardless of skill value. This might be a speciality of Bug Pinch, or it might just be the huge weight. Should maybe test with something with "ultra heavy" prefix, since I don't think any one-handed weapon otherwise weighs that much.

    One of the class guides contains a rumor that Listening affects your chances of hearing (and dying from) banshee screams.

    Does Metallurgy increase ore yields when mining, or help with smithing?

    Are heavier instruments actually better?

    Does Pick Pockets skill (ie going from 1 to 100) have any effect on items/monster yield, or only on time taken? What does the Thief 32 power do?

    Do leather aprons help with Smithing? Is it true that dwarves get a hidden bonus to Smithing checks?

    I haven't tested this at length, but it looks to me that the weaponsmith melt items class power seems to train metallurgy. Maybe you get more ingots out with higher metallurgy?

    AFAIK, mining skill primarily affects ore yields.

    Thief class power does actually seem to give better items. Modular did some testing on this using a gremlin bomb. He estimates that he pickpocketted 12,000 gremlins, and ended up with:

    * more amulets of life saving (about 15)
    * More rings of djinni summoning and wands of wishing (about 20 rings and 10 wands)
    * Allot more slaying ammo (piles of 50+ arrows of -foo- slaying)
    * Eternium arrows and ignots (about 100 of each)
    * Possible more artifact and better chance for elven mail

    Artifacts pickpocketed:
    * BoW
    * Preserver
    * Whirlwind
    * Ring of immunity
    * Soaker
    I don't do a whole lot of pickpocketting myself, but that seems an awful lot better than average IMHO.
    Hoping to win with every class, doomed. Archer, Barbarian, Bard, Beastfighter, Druid, Elementalist, Farmer, Fighter, Monk, and ULE Priest down.

    You may wish to check my brief skill list in the Bard's guide - plenty of crappy rumours of my own there to test

    Kinda related, I'm pretty sure that something like a 2%
    bonus is added for wearing a leather apron, but I have
    no link or anything.

    > i would ask to pile in basic rumours about skills

    You are welcome to use anything I may have uncovered
    in my recent ranger thread that mainly focused on the
    to-hit bonus. I haven't sifted through that mess myself
    yet, so it may be that everything skill related adds up
    fine with the manual.

    I noticed a to-hit bonus from being invis, and that makes
    me suspect that one may be related to stealth as well.
    I'll post more rumors later if I can think of them : )
    "Whip me!" pleads the adom player. The rng replies... "No."
