Pretty simple story, I got stash with some heavy items (anvil, tome of donors) in corridor just above Waldenbrook's shoop, behind closed door. fter finishing arena quest, there is no closed doors and no my items.
How is it this possible?

Creatures can and will break doors down. Safest place to stash in dwarftown is right next to thrundaar. The dwarven guards act like a choke point and dwarves almost never go in. My advice? Use a familiar summoning scroll in DH then have it slaughter the regular dwarftown residents until you get your stuff back.

Stashing stuff in Ogre town under dwarf town after you clear it is a good spot, too...

Stashing things in the barbarian glade is also good. Obviously, you'd put stuff nowhere near the old barbarian. I also frequently put things on the upstairs of D:1
