Hi folks,

Its been a long time since playing ADOM and visiting these forums. I played few chars in the recent build and boy, is there some new stuff to discover!
I started playing adom around 1997 I think. Continued to play every few years, now I had a longer break. What a great game this still is, and more so as in the past there was less to explore. Have not seen rolf stuff or minotaur maze yet.. cant wait.

This char was very lucky, so I decided to try ULE.
Got first Djinni ring from VD7! Killed the healer for 60 healing skill though. Bandit village shop had scalpell of devastation for 14k gold. When I found first potion of invis I robbed that. Little later I found dagger of death!
Did some random dungeons after UD and HMV, got lots of potions from the new village next to CoC.

Did Ice queen for the first time, some barbarian was yelling stuff and unleashed milliions of mobs on to me Haggard had giant vault, did that only barely surviving the titans. Spenseweed, pots, poison and throwing rolf's axe came handy there.
I was about lvl20 when i went there I was 28 when i got out. Did tower and high kings. After that i went chaotic and did demented ratling and Old crone for amulet and crown. Got crown on day 120 after blinding and backstabbing the multi headed chaos dragon. Fed the beggar and whipped myself back to L+ and got crowned with Kinslayer, blah. First dive I saved Khelly, did the temples. Blinded ASB and Nuraag, backstabbed for easy kill. Did ACW guest and got Needle. Got back up and BS Assassin prince for Needle after getting the q for Filk . Now I was the beast! ID2 was Filk and then for the Emperor Moloch. Some normal attacks got him to 80% and after blinding, I oneshotted him with backstab !

Took the Chaos artifacts and went for the final dive. Teleporting around to minimize the corruption. Cleared D50 with ease with my uber daggers. Drank all boost pots, wished for speed 2 times and went through the gate. Andy started by casting darkness, I had forgot about that. I saved one wish (drained wand), so I wished for torches, I wanted to keep my good neck item.

The storm of steel that is Needle and Sting brought Andy down quickly, switched to ToRR in the end ofc and finished him.

I really loved playing this game again. I hope ADOM Ultimate will be a worthy successor.
