Add an in-game "notes" feature??

I've been playing since 96ish and I have several notebooks full of character notes. Sometimes it can get messy/confusing/wasteful. Wondering if anyone had ever thought of making an in-game notepad for the character. I take notes on things like: first kill, pool locations, out-of-depth enemies that I ran away from and do not want to be surprised by, etc. Just food for thought. Cheers.

you can put notes on items, if your like me and never throw away anything, I have a note on a stack of cursed pepper petals that I found a Titan room in the Dwarven Halls
