You can change it to "motherfucking" if you so desire. The possibilities are endless.
ADOM Guides - whatever you wanted to know about playing a certain class, but have been afraid to ask!

Check out my youtube channel to see my ADOM videos, including a completed playthrough of the game. I try to give instructions, so if you want to see some place you haven't been before and get some hints on how to deal with it, this might help! There's also some other games featured there that you might find interesting.

It gets slightly amusing when you find a plain plain blanket. I saw something similar in someone else's log, but "cursed" was changed to "bad" and "blessed" was changed to "nice". I thought that this person altered the logfile in some text editor, but I was explained that there's an advanced way of changing those words too.

I had them as B, U & C on my previous computer. Less to read that way.

You could rename blessed to cursed and cursed to blessed just to really confuse matters...

I knew that someone, sooner or later, will say that. Well, let me load ADOM and take this from the manual itself.

    Uncursed_String
    ***************
string: some people don't seem to like the word 'uncursed' ADOM uses
to describe an item that is neither cursed nor blessed. You can
define an alternative by using this environment variable. Be careful
about what you do since ADOM does not check your definition and using
'cursed' or 'blessed' is possible, too. Moral: he who confuses
    himself gets what he deserves.

There's your answer. (sheesh, I know whole gb and manual)

How did you do it Ars?
