Default The Weakest Link: League of Fire

Welcome to the League of Fire!

    Chaos Gate status: OPEN!
(when the Chaos Gate is opened corrupt and profane tactics will be allowed)

This thread is for game reports for this league - no general discussion here, that?s reserved for the Discussion thread. Game Reports
    :

After each turn you must give a full and frank description of your activities, with especial detail on things that may affect other players. This can be done as a story or as a plain retelling of events. Some notable things to include:

    -dungeon levels traversed
    -items found
    -items lost/damaged
    -prayers used
    -piety gained using holy symbol
    -levels gained
    -skills increased
    -talent choices
    -stat changes
    -where you left off
-monsters on the current level not killed

It is also preferred for you to create a log file with the '(' or ')' key at the end of your turn and post it in code tags. You will need to trim it down a lot to fit in the post though - I recommend cutting out inventory junk, unused weapon skills, background, kill list, and anything else that isn?t relevant to your play.

You must, of course, attach the save file to your post for the next person to pick up. This must be made into a zip file to be accepted on the forum (no other file types are allowed). There is a file limit of 97 Kb - thankfully in infinity we?re very unlikely to reach this.

Should you die please give us a report of what happened in as much gruesome detail as possible so we can mock you Do not post an flg - this would reveal hidden information like equipment identifications and intrinsics. However please do give us details for the high score listing ? in particular score, xps, no turns, what killed you and how, and what level you were on (most of this stuff is at the start of the achievements section of the flg).

    High Score:

The infamous list of how everyone died.

    Code:
68360 Soirana, advanced to level 16 (142156 xps), survived for 25129 turns.
Pulverised by an ancient minotaur on I39.

65983 Grey, advanced to level 16 (139270 xps), survived for 24069 turns.
Dissolved by an ancient black dragon on I37.

44486 deepshock, advanced to level 15 (122897 xps), survived for 23192 turns.
Hundred crack fisted by a mimic hivemind on I33.

23074 Orbic, advanced to level 13 (47632 xps), survived for 11286 turns.
Eaten by a pack of hungry wolves and their werewolf master on I13.

16987 vogonpoet, advanced to level 12 (32106 xps), survived for 8389 turns.
Executed himself with a lightning bolt on I11.

1357 riktikticheck, advanced to level 1, survived for 34 turns.
Killed by a pit viper on I1. The first blood!

Well, we should probably name our little girl before she dies horribly. Any suggestions from the group on names? Personally I'm a big Tolkien fan, and wouldn't mind using a name from one his books, such as Yavanna or Elanor. Ultimately riktikicheck gets precedence on choice though.

Actually yeah, nice idea - something Fire-related would be more appropriate.

    Ignis Fatuus?
    There is fire in there,
I like the idea of misleading travelers... it seems corruptingly well suited for this game.
It also fits a short sized person.
It also makes me think of the Dead Marshes
    But: Is Ignis girlish enough?

well personally i do not much have a difference on the name, but following my naming policy: i like to use L5R names, and a name fitting for this game maby the master of fire: Isawa Hochiu

but as said the name makes no difference to me

i see i have gotten the first chanse to die an embarrasing death right off the bat

    Let's see how things go.
Top Score in ADOM: 10.1M- Normal victory (Male Dwarven Paladin)

    King of All Dwarves.

well that sure didn't take long

so i take the clothes off to get berserk bonuses, read the book once, then open the first door and find pit vipers right behind it, the first one died just fine, but the second one got into the doorway before i could close it and him i missed 3 times getting poisoned 3 times (prayed at that point but missed the last viper once too, so was at 4 poisons and damage) i expected to be dead, but that was some bad luck. so some monster had walked on the trap ... oh well atleast i expect you grey to survive a bit longer

now you can name the character as you like
    Code:
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
                  Her achievements during her adventures:
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Isawa Hochiu, the hurthling priest, was killed by a pit viper.
    She scored 1357 points.
She survived for 0 years, 0 days, 22 hours, 35 minutes and 0 seconds (34
    turns).
She ended her adventuring life on level 1 of some ancient caves.
2 monsters perished under her attacks. (2 pit vipers that is)

    Damn RNG...
You still stand a chance, let's see if all the others die before the 2000 turns as well

That's brilliant! Never expected a death so fast Well done, riktikticheck, I don't think anyone can beat you there. Doubtthere was anything you could have done in the circumstances...

Well, time for me to see if I will be the next weakest link :/
