    Got the beastfighter. I'm going to start by exploring the UD, which I skipper earlier.

    There are a couple of forges in the UD in case we want to do some smithing.
    I got the courage skill from the barbarian and he then followed me. I decided to go to Darkforge to see how he would do against the golems. After a while, though, he got fed up with me constantly switching places with him and attacked me. So much for that silly plan. Judging by the one guarding the stairs, we're not ready to face a big group of steel golems quite yet.

    Our Weaponsmith is down, my apologies. I hope the rest of you think the same way as I do, that weaponsmith wasnt our primary way to get win.

    Early game riskyness, getting ambushed by random goblins and dying there.
    Oh well... There was nothing to do really, I wouldnt say that it was my fault tho.
    All blame RNG. :/

    I sort of wanted to take Tiny directly to the water temple, but decided to take the traditional route after all in case I'd come across an amulet of life saving on the way.

    There was a chaotic altar in the hing kings dungeon, but I didn't dare to step on it to convert it. The skeletal king was very easily killed once I got there. I was surrounded a couple of times in the cavernous levels. At least it trained our courage a bit.

    When I went to darkforge next I thought to myself "This cutpurse is unusally tough". Only after killing him did I realise that the white @ was not in fact a cutpurse at all, but the barbarian I had left there earlier. We're still L+, though, so no harm done.

    I went downstairs and the first golem used his fire attack, which destroyed some stuff, including two scrolls of defense. I checked our inventory and noticed that we had no fireproof blanket. I quickly went back and dropped everything. I cleared up the lower level quite easily, but our [+0, +6] cloak did get destroyed. I picked up the crown and two promising looking armours. Returned to where I dumped our stuff earlier and noticed that I can't carry it all. I left our mithril boots behind and returned to Dwarftown. I sold our crystal armour as it was just too heavy and returned to the big room to collect some morgia and stoma herbs.

    I noticed that we had become strained! again, so decided to stop for now. If we're prepared to let Khelavaster die, then we could go all the way down to the wall of flames now.

    I'm continuing with Speedy the bard now.

    Bad news first: I killed a cat. There were no special circumstances, I just bumped into it in a moment of carelessness. Sorry

    I explored down to the wall of flames (rescuing Khelly on the way) and returned back up.

    There is a lawful altar close to the stairs down in the graveyard. A lot of good it does there among all the undead.

    I killed most things with rocks in the water temple. The snake was too tough, though, so I used our wand of fireballs instead.

    I cleared two minor undead vaults. I left the cooked snake corpse on the Banshee level, as I remember it sharing the non-rotting property of shops. There is a herb level next to the Banshee one with two morgia/moss squares.

    I didn't come across much useful stuff this time. gauntlets of strength are probably the best find. I also got two wands of wonder, which I zapped down to 0 charges.

    What to do next? ToEF is an option, but we have no fireproof blanket. Sipping the pools for a wish is always an alternative. It would be great to get the concentration skill. We could also train our climbing a bit and then go to the rift, although that might be a bit risky in a game like this.

    I'm back at the D1 stash, so there's some equipment to choose from. Again, I used herbs that have yet to take effect, so don't waste any more right away.

    I'm done torturing 'Tiny' for now. I pool sipped in DF, to get an amulet of life saving
    for Khelly. I then remembered that we hadn't yet gotten the golden gladius, and now I
    had perma-invisibility! I had to search through many of the previous dungeons looking
    for pools, to get rid of it. I finally did shed it, and aquired the 'tactics' skill.
    Took a lot of turns though : ) I drank a potion of insight when done sipping, and here
    is what we are left with:

    -poison, -cold, lucky+FS, -sleep, -petr, TP control, -stun, -para, -shock, =acid,
    naturally heal one HP/46 turns, and one PP/ 59 turns.

    The bad news is, that we don't have intrinsic -fire, so we need keep an eye out for
    fire monsters. Actually, we do have 4 sources of -fire for the tower (RotHK's, -fire
    ring, Elemental Gauntlets, and the 'immune to pain talent), but if we can pick up the
    intrinsic, that would free up a ring slot or two.

    I'll do to Tiny what I did to Speedy then. Except the cat killing, of course.

    I didn't bother with the thrown rocks in the water temple this time and instead just meleed the grues and demons. Despite this, the only corrupting hits came from the snake while zapping our wand of fireballs. I again left the corpse on banshee level.

    Just like Speedy, Tiny also came across two minor undead vaults. We lost one point of toughness in the first one, but regained it naturally soon after. The game crashed around this point, but it made a save first, so I could carry on. I couldn't see anything wrong after restoring (and saving and restoring again to be sure). The vault also contained a black dragon scail mail. It's the wrong colour for us, but +14 PV is quite nice.

    An ogre king gave +1st and various troll corpses improved our metabolism. I also picked up the corrupt tissue corruption.

    On my way back up, I decided to get the dwarven axe. Without thinking through, I bookcast us into the room, and then we didn't have enough PP to cast the spell again. Rather than waiting for us to slowly regain PP or casting out of HP, I just read a scroll of teleportation to get back out. A bit wasteful perhaps, but nothing too bad.

    I noticed that we are not carrying any sis. Where have they gone? I don't think we should abandon them before knowing if there is something expensive that we want in the casino.

    I can't say I've ever seen it enhanced by anything before, but it's entirely possible. After having killed my character at the low level of 6 or 10 or whatever it was, I'm hesitant to grab either of these characters. Are these the last two on our roster?
