Willpower & Reading Spellbooks

Does high Willpower help when trying to learn a spell? Does it increase the final amount of castings?

Hm, no one has responded yet. I admit i'm curious about this myself, as i don't know.

From personal experience though, I think the answer is no. While i notice spectacular increases in reading efficiency from increasing Le, increasing the Wi by even 10 (orb) doesn't seem to produce any result.

That addresses number of castings, but not reading success, which is much harder to observe.

Speaking of Spellbooks, what exactly does the Black Tome do, other than corrupt you? Does reading it produce any effect?

If memory serves, reading the black tome results in a corruption and learning
a random spell. It's been a while since I read it though : )
