Preserver, Ring of Immunity and Ironfist were all from the same giant and ogre
vault. Skullcrusher and Bracers of War were precrowns, Serpent's Bite was
found as a random drop, and all those -color- dragon scale mails were in
Darkforge. There was a White dragon scale mail too, but I sold it because
I had the AMW.

Also, it'd be worse if he (or some other summoner) summoned banshees. IIRC that happened to someone once.

AFAIK, that would be impossible - at least in 1.1.1. Summoning is partially reliant on the creation probability from what I've seen, and Banshees of course have a normal creation probability of 0.

EDIT: It's probably still related to monster rarity, but does necessarily make them unsommonable, just extremely rare.
