    Christmas holidays sparked my ADOM interest once again... it's been a year or two. After looking around I saw there's a server nowadays, so thought to check it out. Second character to succeed, as the first one got jumped by master mimic... As for the server, I was pleasantly surprised how nicely it works.

    The game was being stingy in everything except artifacts. First got Scorhed spear in a vault in UD, then Executor and Hammerhead from DF. No wishes, no great vaults, no 7LBs and only one PoGA. Low stats were compensated with some nice corruptions. Then some smithing before the last levels. Overall it felt a really dwarvish game. Destinies aren't born, they are made.

    I couldn't really get the server working the way I like it. I'm used to ADOM winbeta, and even with the settings tweaked to mostly mirror it, something just feels... off.

    Congrats on your win though.
