YOUR HISTORY:
Your parents were poor people. They loved you and cared for you,
although you had to hunger more than once.
As a child you had to survive pretty harsh times since your parents
seemed to have run out of luck. Their wealth was ever-declining and times
 were very hard.
In your youth you enjoyed competition against others to the
fullest. You were a very active kid.
As a young adult you were a credit to your family. Your parents
supported your plans and were very understanding. They tried to help you
along your way with all means at their disposal.
You decided to become a Wizard.
At the beginning of his adventure Dagon was very afraid of what he was going to start, all school friends of him, all wizards that have embarked in this quest died somehow and somewere in the Drakalor Chain, rumors was that some of them surged at great powers, but none of them returns from the journey. He was very weak and fragile, scared and doubtful, and couldn't anyway retreat for the honor of his family and school.
The weather was mild and comfortable, and a slight wind was blowing on the road leading to the small village that he was told to visit first. He was going to enter the small village when his elven sight sees in the distance a small cave entrance that moved his attention. Curiosity has always been his weakness since better it was talking to someone first, but while those thinkings was crossing his mind he was already in front of the cave. Echoes of screams and moans came out from the dark, and once more it seems a bad idea. Learned from his books the power of fire and ice took the stairs down without further hesitations, took a deep breath and was quite surprised to find the place so well lightened.
So this is the famous (or infamous) underworld of the Drakalor chain, “they say” that he would have had a lot of this to explore. Some parchment was on the floor, as well of a shield of some kind making him think that the place was abandoned long ago, as the dust can confirm. A large bat was floating in the room not caring about him, and distance noises came from the corridor on the other side. Beasts? Animals? He was aware that he had to go on very carefully or his name will be carved on the tombstone in the great hall of the wizards' school under many others, so decided to take with him that shield, and made the first mistake ignoring the bat. The beast previously so qiuet made a narrow bend in the air and a swoop barely missed his head. The heart on the throat, he took his staff with two hands and with full force splattered the creature on floor, washing the robe with it's blood. The head was pulsing, the heart was beating, and he tried to take a breath walking backwards toward the corridor.
”Stay calm Dagon, it was only a b...”...he was interrupted when stomped into something behind him. The smell, a deep grunt and suddenly he was sure what it was. Turned slowly his head to see a vile green-skinned creature, red piggish eyes and big teeth from his mouth staring at him. The orc suddenly screamed out all his fury and the taint of his breath made Dagon stagger for a moment.
The orc raised his spear and with a single blow scratched the robe making the wizard's chest bleed.
Instinctively Dagon wielded his staff pathetically missing the blow, making the beast raise in fury.
Was in this moment that Dagon felt the power raising from his body, in a bright light and glory a huge tongue of flames completely wasted away the orc and some other bats behind him.
“well, that was close...seems that you fear my fire, boys...”
...so that was Dagon's first experience in Drakalor underground, he scorched many other orcs and goblins in the cave and found a precious tool, and then helped a little community with their troubles before start his adventure.
And he sees great wonders in his journey, in an underground dwarven city an ancient dwarf tested his strenght and then opened the way to the goal of his quest, he fought an ancient undead king and met a beautiful icy woman, queen of the winter. In a very well hidden dark forge he fought a horde of huge steel golems, and when all was over between the pieces of iron he found a particular wand that with great surprise raised a voice in his mind..”what do you wish for?”
So he asked for an amulet, to save an old man life, a pair of boots that made him fly, a girdle that gave him the strenght of a giant, and learned how to find the weakness of his enemy.
He was surprised how strong he became in just few weeks, and began to grow in confidence.
Deeper in the mountain he found dangers and wonders, a strange creature in the shape of a human cat showed its gratitude for his love for the feline race, a huge multi-colored dragon asked for his help and such a beatiful creature couldn't be disappointed, and finally he took his revenge on the evil archmage who killed his best friend. At last, in front of the gates of hell, in a mighty fury he burned away with acid and fire a horde of demons and fiends, closing forever the source of the evil.
On the cold stone that once was the gate of chaos Dagon took his rest for a while, thinking to his friends who died before him, but was surprised to found himself happy. He was tired, was proud, he was the best, HE survived...

In memory of the fallen friends (R59)..
