Attacked by Dark sage after offering peace
Monster got extra attack after accepting peace offer

Playing Chaotic Orc Assassin.

crit'ed Dark sage, it panics.
I offer peace, it accepts and attacks one last time.
Look at status - not hostile, but neutral {afraid}

Message log:
You miss the female dark sage. The fds suddenly seems to panic!
You talk to the fds.
Do you want to offer \[p\]eace?
The fds gladly accepts the chance to surrender. The fds mumbles cryptics word! You barely avoid the energy blast.
Target: a fds (neutral) {afraid}

...
Expected behavior: After accepting peace, no more attacking of any kind!

Should also note: continuing play, the FDS continues to attack with bolts while neutral & afraid.
Seems just wrong, even if it's 'by design'

If you 'C'hat with a panicking monster, there's a chance you'll get the option of offering peace. This grants experience, and if you kill him afterwards, you get none.

I upvoted this issue, because I know I've had it happen in the past. although that was in 1.1.1.

Pre 1.1.1 you could still get XP (if I remember things right). You could damage a high value target (like a shopkeeper) to panic, offer peace, then kill it for (nearly) double XP. Pretty fantastic.

Monsters statuses now sometimes become hostile after accepting [p]eace. Acting like hostile monsters.

Their status changes from neutral to hostile, in previous versions they stayed neutral and still attacked the PC.

Neutral scared monsters will also accept [p]eace. The PC even gains xp by offering [p]eace to such monsters.
