Better heir item for chaos knight
Make it mithril?
Making the heir item mithril would improve its value without making it overpowered. As it stands a corrodable weapon isn't worth 3 talents.

What i would really like to see is it being of vampirism instead of slaughtering.

It would really help with sorting healing in exact way chaos knight should sort it. Leaving it destructable would not make it to broken for late game, IMO/

Their heirloom is now made up from mithril. Vampirism IMHO is too powerful in the beginning.

In prerelease 6 I chose a gnome chaos knight so I could try out the Heir talent. I got a chaotic battle axe of slaughtering which is cool, but only one handed. In fact I didn't start with any 2 handed weapons!
