I wanted to test out the changes to both humans and fighters in the new version, and I made a pretty powerful character with point buy. IT said my final stats were str16,le11,dx15,to14,cha7,ap16,ma10,pe16, and when my character started my stats were 25,15,17,18,10,18,10,18.

That's a pretty crazy character. My assumption is that some bonuses got applied twice somehow, either from point buy, or background, race or all of the above.
