Game freezes and commands are queued
Every 1000 turns or so the game freezes and queues up my current command

Every 1000 or so turns (don't know exactly), the game will freeze for about 5 seconds and then resumes. I wouldn't mind so much except that it queues the key I pressed. So if I press right, it'll freeze for five seconds then act as if I held right for that entire time, even though I just tapped it. There is no extra message displayed. My box is a 2011 socket i7 with SDD/2G graphics so I'm thinking this isn't a box spec issue.

This is the backup save feature and I thought they just fixed that in r56?

Edit : I just checked the changelog and it seems they fixed the backup save clearing the memory log. It still lags the game some every time it saves.

Actually there is not much we can do about the time lag (on my system it's barely noticeable). You can use :S to change the interval or turn the feature off.

During the save the key events aren't queued anymore, this should help (in the NotEye and Linux versions, the rest stills to be changed).
