Casino: infinite gold, no corruption
Slot machines in the casino can be operated an infinite amount of times without spending any game time. This can be exploited to get arbitrary amounts of gold without any consequences (such as corruption).

I'm not sure whether this is a bug or a feature, but I think that now that exploity bugs are being fixed, it's a good time to raise it and dispel the doubts.

If you play the biggest-prize slot machine in the Casino, you can keep pressing space all the time and generating money. That's fine, but what I think might be unintended is that all this happens on a single game turn. This means that the PC is unaffected by corruption while doing this.

Therefore, one can enter the casino, go to the slot machine, leave a heavy object pressing the "space" key, go watch some movies as mentioned on another thread, come back and get millions of gold pieces without even suffering any corruption.

I have always thought that being able to win infinite money in the casino was intended, but that doing it in a single turn and without getting corrupted was unintended (it makes sense that the casino would be a chaotic place that would lure you to stay and earn lots of money, but at the cost of corruption!). Let's see if we can get the Creator's word on whether there is a bug or not :)

You want to kill all the ways of getting easy gold in the game! :(

If this is a bug and gets fixed so that time flows adequately, the dedicated scummers could just read a ton of scrolls of peace in the casino... of course, that'd also affect what kind of goodies are restocked in the shop.

Yes, spinning a slot machine 1000s to millions of times doesn't take 31 seconds and why would the PC become very hungry in just 31 seconds. I usually just go to bed or work.

Fixed with an ingenious tweak (or actually not that ingenious but I think it will work nicely :-) ).

Haha, looking forward to seeing the complaints in the forums.

Shouldn't this be marked as "fixed"?

I'm not sure if it shows the "You have been corrupted" message while gambling, but it might be nice to make it a bit more obvious that you've picked up a bunch of corruptions after you're finished at the slots.

Yea, it does in the usual way, but with players holding down the spacebar or similar they miss the event(s).

In another ticket it was suggested that the event be 'hard-prompted' with (y/n).
