So, it really was a Nuclear Reactor? It was called a Chaos Gate, but Chaos sure acts like Radiation. I guess ADOM takes place after like an apocalypse or something?
It's the gate through which Chaos attempts to invade and destroy Ancardia. You can read about the game's background here.

Anyways! My corruption Problem.... hmm I would say it is pretty bad! Scars, Poison Hands, Big Head, Extra Eyes, Antenna (I like the Antenna), Thorns, Horns, Hooves, Sulfur Breath, Teleportation, Rage, Apishness(?), Unholy Aura and very light!
Apish is very bad for a spellcaster, unholy aura is bad news for everyone (although not as bad as e.g. stiff muscles).

Let us just say I am not in a good way! I am going to try to write a Scroll of Chaos Resistance cause I found a writing set!
This is a good idea to get rid of your unholy aura and apish, and be able to pass through the casino and Dwarftown safely. Just bless both the set and the blank scrolls you're going to use. Then you can talk to the druid in Terinyo as Jelly adviced.

The bug ruins that required you to generate 100 characters (an amount you're well past from now) also has a few SoCRs, among other things. It should be manageable for a PC like yours now, just be careful and don't get surrounded.

About my teleport ring, when I become queen of a mob family or something, it will be the ring people have to kiss! It's served me well!
I try to do the same with my starting gear. Keeping it as an in-game memento

Oh also guys with everything going on I forgot to mention I hit level 50! And I finally killed a Troll Berserker! Lol. Only took the whole game!
Too bad you can't do the rest of Thrundarr's quests now... or even get your reward for this one!

The Library is also a source of SoCR and is a good deal less dangerous than the bug temple, if you want to try there first...

Well guys, I wrapped it up! I killed a Black Unicorn, and got my corruptions gone. Then I went to the Casino and ended up blowing over a million on my Will! Then I decided, as much as playing tourist would be nice, accidents happen, so let's wrap it up! Plus Thrundarr and the Village elder in Terinyo both said I should go home!
    Code:
After she leaves the Drakalor Chain she is welcomed by her people with great
honors. They acknowledge her noble deeds, her valor, her cunning and her
great skills that helped to prevent the complete destruction of the world
she knows. She returns to her lands victorious and is hailed as a great
leader. Eventually she becomes queen and rule your subjects with an iron
fist for a long and peaceful time, allowing her people to prosper and grow.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
                  Her achievements during her adventures:
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Perei, the gray elven wizard, saved the world with her brave efforts and
became a great ruler while saving herself 18 times.
She scored 22905420 points and advanced to level 50.
She survived for 0 years, 89 days, 1 hour, 23 minutes and 5 seconds (76647
    turns).
    Perei visited 102 places.
Her strength score was modified by +15 during her career.
Her learning score was modified by +7 during her career.
Her willpower score was modified by +14 during her career.
Her dexterity score was modified by +11 during her career.
Her toughness score was modified by +30 during her career.
Her charisma score was modified by +7 during her career.
Her appearance score was modified by +8 during her career.
Her mana score was modified by +19 during her career.
Her perception score was modified by +8 during her career.
She was unnaturally aged by 31 years.
She was a member of the thieves guild.
She adhered to the principles of the Cat Lord and thus rose to great fame.
She left the Drakalor Chain after completing her quest and became a great
    leader and famous heroine.
4025 monsters perished under her attacks.
The following 23 artifacts were generated during her adventure:
      the si
the scythe of corruption "Moon Sickle"
the ring of the master cat
the Chaos Orb of Elemental Water
the Chaos Orb of Elemental Air
the Chaos Orb of Elemental Fire
the Chaos Orb of Elemental Earth
the heavy crossbow "The Far Slayer"
      the elemental gauntlets
the ring of the High Kings
      the phial of Caladriel
      the crown of science
      the ancient mummy wrapping
      the ankh
      the hammer of the gods
      the black torc
the Chaos Orb of Elemental Mana
the fine leather armor "Nature's Companion"
      the staff of the archmagi
      the ring of immunity
      the sapphire amulet "Preserver"
      the black tome of Alsophocus
      the emerald dagger "Serpent's Bite"
The interesting thing is I never saw most of those Artifacts! Also, what does it mean when it says she saved herself? What I would like to do though is explore those places while still saving the world instead of after. But Maybe!

There are lots of places I didn't explore that I would like to! If anybody wants to suggest things for my next char to visit, or what my next one should be they're welcome!
Thanks for all the encouragement and support! There were times I was sad my people died, but thanks to the forum I kept trying! <3

Congratulations on your first win! You were very persistent, and it paid off

The artifacts you never found were probably in those greater vaults. Usually each one has a few artifacts. Saving yourself is how many times you 'S'ave the game and stop playing.

Here's a few places that you haven't visited yet:
There's a forest temple north of the CoC. It's full of dangerous bugs.
There's a maze near the High Kings cave. It's full of minotaurs. You can only enter between levels 22 and 30.
There's a very deep rift in the same area. If you have 100 climbing, you can enter (fall in). It leads to a library which has many, many spellbooks. If you're very quiet (stealthy), then you can also get some SoCRs).
There's an ancient stone circle also in this area. A chaotic character will be able to learn about it in Dwarftown.
There's the level below the teleport dungeon. It's the lair of the assassins.
There is an ancient karmic wyrm standing near a stairs on the way to the Mana Temple. He'll send you into the Blue Dragon Caves.
There is a secret area deep in the Infinite dungeon. There's a crazy dwarf there.
There's the water dragon cave somewhere in the lake.
If you 's'earch around in the forests, you can find a tree full of quicklings.
There's a secret cave that will only be made available when you do the special endings.

There are four more endings for you to attempt... There's a woman in the High Mountain village that will get you started on this path.

    Plenty to keep you busy

[edit]I think you should give a paladin another shot. You've had some pretty good runs with them before. Drakeling paladin is a good choice.

the heavy crossbow "The Far Slayer"
the fine leather armor "Nature's Companion"
    the ring of immunity
    the sapphire amulet "Preserver"
A shame you missed these, they're top-notch. But not necessary to win, as you've just proven.

Looking forward to your next PC

Woohoo, well done Lasher! You should post your character here:

    http://adom.brinkster.net/hof/

I'm really impressed with how you got through the end-game (especially the Mana Temple) with relatively little advice or spoilers. It took me 9 years to beat the game!

Regarding the nuclear reactor thing, Thomas Biskup is quite anti-nuclear, so the corruption and the chaos gate could be related (whether consciously designed to or not).

    Thanks guys!

Regarding the Mana Temple! It was hard to dig in! But I brought two pickaxes for a reason! No wand of digging lol. And let us say, after the air temple and then the earth temple I was a little afraid of traps. So I used Magic Map a lot, and gradually realized I was gonna have to walk around. About two steps in I started using my Trap detection wand lol. It helped!

Kudos on your win! You did it in amazing time; it took me a year and I considered myself lucky.
